Fence Cleaning & Staining in Platte City & Kansas City

From gray and green to rich, protected wood. We soft wash away mildew and grime, then stain with professional sprayers for even, lasting color.

Quick answer

Fence cleaning and staining restores weathered wood fences. Elite Pressure Pros soft washes the fence to remove mold, mildew, algae and gray weathering, lets the wood dry, then applies a penetrating stain with professional Wagner and Graco sprayers for even coverage and protection from sun and moisture. We stain fences across Platte City, Parkville and the Kansas City Northland, and most fences need re-staining every 2–4 years.

Before & After

Restore. Protect. Enhance.

Wood fences in the Kansas City area take a beating from summer sun, spring rain and winter freeze-thaw. Unprotected wood goes gray, grows green mildew, and starts to warp and crack.

Cleaning alone brightens it; cleaning plus stain protects it. We spray and back-brush where needed for full coverage on boards, posts and rails.

Fence Cleaning & Staining FAQ

How often should a fence be stained?

Every 2–4 years for most wood fences in the Kansas City area, depending on sun exposure and the type of stain.

Do I need to clean the fence before staining?

Yes. Stain doesn't bond well to mildew, dirt or gray, weathered wood fibers. Cleaning first gives better color and makes the stain last longer.

How soon can a new fence be stained?

Most new pressure-treated fences need several weeks to a few months to dry out before staining; cedar can usually be stained sooner. We can check moisture when we look at it.

Do you stain both sides?

We can stain one or both sides. Many homeowners do the side facing their yard and the street.
