Storefront & Building Washing in Kansas City

Soft washing for building exteriors and pressure washing for sidewalks and entries — so your storefront looks open for business.

Quick answer

Elite Pressure Pros washes commercial buildings and storefronts across the Kansas City metro. We soft wash siding, brick, EIFS, stucco and painted surfaces to remove dirt, algae and streaks without damage, pressure wash sidewalks and entryways with surface cleaners, and clean storefront glass. Most businesses do a full building wash once a year and sidewalks and entries monthly or quarterly.

First Impressions Happen At The Curb

Customers decide what they think of a business before they open the door. Dark streaks under rooflines, green algae on the shaded side of the building, gum and grime on the entry, and dirty glass all make a store or office look tired.

We use the right method for every surface: low-pressure soft washing with cleaning solutions for building materials that high pressure can damage, and high-pressure surface cleaning for concrete.

Our Process

How We Do It

  1. Site walk. We identify surfaces, staining, water source, drainage and your business hours.
  2. Protect. Doors, landscaping, signage and electrical areas are protected, and work areas are coned off.
  3. Soft wash the building. A cleaning solution matched to the surface is applied at low pressure and rinsed thoroughly.
  4. Surface clean the flatwork. Sidewalks and entries are pre-treated and cleaned with rotary surface cleaners.
  5. Glass & detail. Storefront glass and frames are cleaned and the site is rinsed and tidied.
  6. Walkthrough. Results are reviewed and documented, and the next visit is scheduled if you're on a plan.

Why Soft Washing For Buildings

High-pressure water can etch brick and mortar, damage EIFS and stucco, strip paint and force water behind siding. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution that kills algae and mildew at the root, so the building gets cleaner, stays clean longer, and doesn't get damaged.

We save the high pressure for concrete sidewalks and entries, where it's the right tool.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should a commercial building be washed?

Most commercial buildings in Kansas City should have a full exterior wash once a year, with shaded or north-facing walls sometimes needing more. Sidewalks and entries see much more traffic and are typically cleaned monthly or quarterly.

Is pressure washing safe for EIFS, stucco and brick?

High pressure isn't. We soft wash those surfaces — low pressure plus a cleaning solution — which removes dirt and algae without damaging the material.

Can you clean before or after business hours?

Yes. We schedule 7 AM – 8 PM, seven days a week, so we can work before opening, after closing or on weekends.

Do you clean storefront windows?

Yes. Storefront glass and frames can be added to any building wash or scheduled on their own recurring visit.
